<div style="text-align:center;">the divine poet:</div>
<div style="text-align:center;">he sang the faith divinely,</div>
<div style="text-align:center;">he exalted the virgin mother.</div>
<br />The cancellation quotes all but the first and last lines: "SUAE GENTIS / IMPERITURA GLORIA / UNITATIS ASSERTOR / POPULORUM / DIVUS POETA / FIDEM CECINIT DIVINE". The current plaque in the church was apparently installed on May 31, 1979.<br /><br />The right side of the cancellation is occupied by the coat of arms of the Holy See with text as follows: "POSTE / VATICANE" (Vatican mail), "DIE EMISSIONIS" (day of issue), and the date.]]></dcterms:description>
